I have a home on the southside of Chicago that has recently gone into foreclosure. I have no job and have had tenants in there who hopefuly are gone out of the house. I do not have any help in fixing it up and want to know if anyone knew any way to turn this situation around. Does anyone know or have any suggestion of what I can do quickly. I have served notice to the tenants in January. A lawyer is presently working on the eviction and I'll have my brother go by there tomorrow to see if he sees anyone in the house or if anyone would answer. I have been laid off from my job of 11 years as of August 29, 2006.  I am in my second year of my Master's Degree in Social Work and have four people relying on my income besides myself.  I have no money to draw from as I was working for Chicago Public Schools.

I am the head of the household, which includes my 73 year old mother, 2 nieces and one nephew. I am presently working on my MSW degree and will be laid off the end of August. I also have tenants in a house I purchased two years ago. My tenants were suppose to be able to buy the house, but they can't. I am in over my head and need of help. I am up-to-date thus far, but next month with no income and all of these responsibilities; I don't know how I will make it. I have been trying to have a life for the last 20 years. I have never been married. I have no children except my 2 nieces and 1 nephew whom I have given my life to and whom I have co-raised for the past 14 years. Now that my mother is older I am taking care of her. I have been trying everything I can to get out of this rut, now my job is gone. $5000.00 would help me tremendously to keep up until I find another job. I was able to finish my B.A. in May, 2004 and am presently working on my Master's in Social Work. I have never done any drugs and my record is clean.
